Slow fuses are ideal for circuits with transient current surges or startup surges. These circuits include motors, transformers, incandescent lamps and suitable load devices.
Fast Acting type respond quickly and are suitable for circuits without instantaneous current surges.
Super Fast-Acting type usually have silver connections. These fuses are often used to protect semiconductor circuits because of their current-limiting ability.
